ISO 14001:2015 certified. Here’s what that actually means for our clients

Sustainability has never been just a talking point for VIAL Automation. It’s an engineering principle.

Ultrasonic welding technology has been our core competency for over 20 years, and it inherently supports cleaner manufacturing: no adhesives, no solvents, no consumables, minimal thermal stress on materials. The process itself produces less waste and consumes less energy than many conventional joining methods.

But commitment needs to be measured, not just stated.

That’s why we pursued and received ISO 14001:2015 certification, issued on May 29, 2026 by SIQ (Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology), a member of the IQNet international certification network.

What ISO 14001 means in practice:

It’s not just a plaque on the wall. It’s a structured framework that requires us to identify, monitor, and continuously improve our environmental impact across our operations. It means our internal processes, resource use, and waste management are subject to systematic review and third-party verification.

For our clients operating under ESG reporting requirements or sourcing commitments in regulated industries, this certification provides verifiable documentation that their production partner manages environmental responsibility to an internationally recognised standard.

Part of a broader commitment:

ISO 14001 joins our long-standing ISO 9001:2015 certification (first issued 2012, renewed 2024), forming a dual-standard foundation of quality and environmental management. Both are independently audited and recognised across the EU, DACH region, and internationally through IQNet.

We believe that building better industrial solutions, smarter automation, cleaner joining processes, more reliable production, and operating responsibly don’t have to be competing. They’re the same goal.
